Las Vegas New Year’s “I want to go on a tropical vacation” Nails PLUS my third YouTube Video!

We are going to Las Vegas soon so I couldn’t wait to get my Christmas tree down off my nails (check them out here) and put some FUN nails on that would be inspiring for a New Year and make me think of a white sandy beach and turquoise blue waters! I keep seeing pictures on Instagram of a few lucky souls who are going to Hawaii, the Caribbean, or even my dream vacation The Maldives like Aaron and Lauren Paul did for Christmas. They seem like such a cute couple and if you are one of the hottest celebrities in the world, why wouldn’t you go to the hottest vacation destination?!? Here’s a few pictures of The One & Only Maldives Resort…it’s only around $3000 a night…I would NEVER want to leave if I went! It looks like an amazing resort for the whole family!

If we can’t make it to the Maldives I would LOVE to go back to Akumal or the Mayan Riviera on Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula someday! My husband and I went about 8 years ago and I still to this day dream of our vacation. It was so wonderful. Not luxurious at all. We only paid about $800 a person WITH air and all our food and drinks for six days! Here are a few pictures of us 🙂

We aren’t going to a tropical destination, but Las Vegas is always a good time! I am excited to try out the Aliante Casino…it looks SUPER nice and it was SUPER affordable!

It’s supposed to be over 60 degrees in Vegas this weekend and The Aliante heats their pool so I’m hoping we can do a little swimming. They also have a movie theatre with an IMAX screen. We’ve been waiting to see The Hobbit till we get down there so that should be fun too!

Anyway, back to nails! Here are my cute vacation and New Year’s nails! I really, really love them 🙂

Tiffany Blue Nails Gel Polish

I didn’t mean for them to look like Tiffany Nails but they are a good combination if you are trying to achieve that look! I just thought the bow was cute. 🙂 I changed my ring finger THREE times before I decided on the bow. This was the second look, which is cute, but I knew the bow would last a lot longer…

Gel polish with glitter and gems and studs Video tutorial

Here is my THIRD ever YouTube video! It’s a tutorial on the second look, the gems and studs “Junk Nail“.

I have a long ways to go with video making…it’s kind of like sewing for me…SOOOO HARD and FRUSTRATING but I know once I get the hang of it I’ll love it and it’ll be a breeze. I’ll look back at these first videos and think “Why was that so hard???” Just as with anything new we are trying to learn. 🙂

Here’s my Polyvore set I created for these nails…my first maternity set! 🙂

Maternity Beach

I love that saying…A Walk On The Beach Is Worth A Thousand Words…that is the absolute truth for me. I love the beach and the ocean. It’s my dream to move to close to the waves again one day. I lived by the ocean in Alaska and Connecticut and want to return. It speaks to my soul. 🙂

Is there a certain place in nature that has a direct link to your soul? Somewhere you dream about returning? I would love to hear about it…

Thank you so much for reading. I am really excited about the New Year. I love New Year’s. Not New Year’s Eve but the New Year. A fresh start. New beginnings. Decluttering my house of Christmas and looking forward to Spring. Setting resolutions. Maybe. 🙂

Thank you so much for reading! Have a great weekend!
